New member, new car

Hi everyone! Got this beast a week ago. Mmmm, yes, bit of a difference from the old Volvo! Going for mot tomorrow so hopefully I'll actually get on the road instead of sitting in it in the drive. Seriously never driven anything like it - wow. Came with blinky dash, heat sensors fallen out exhausts, duff cd player, sticky caliper - all of which now fixed thanks mostly to info on this brilliant forum. Anyway, fingers crossed tomorrow!

Yes could be right, though from what I've read I only have to register to post. Anyway car passed mot ok, but I'm having a problem with ECT warning and o/d flashing. I've read about the solenoid, haven't checked wiring or connections yet, but I'm worried I'm damaging something by driving with the warning message active? Car drives fine through gears etc, and overdrive works as it should...
