Radiator problems

Just got the top tank crack below the cap, temp repair just now with leak fix, Anyone know where to get one, local MR T wants about £200 for one, I can get one here for £169

http://www.cheaptoyotaparts.co.uk/co...art/Itemid,26/

But most of the ones I look at on Ebay in the states don't ship to the UK but prices are good any help appreciated, and how easy is to change
Mind its the 3.0 ltr soarer I've got.

The strange thing is the top tank from MrT is about £35, but then with the gasket and metal plate puts it up to £185 crazy pricing
Thanks in advance
Dave

Dave, just a tip from personal experience.
If you do order from the link in your post, be wary of the so called 2/3 day delivery.
In my case allowing 3/4 weeks would have been more accurate

Too late Richard ordered it today, as long as it comes soon, patched up the crack with leak fix, and have ran it today for about an hour stop start driving seems OK no leaks, steam or smell when you lift the bonnet. I work 4 miles away so most driving will be only this distance, so should see me OK until I get it.

Not that I like using rad weld, but got a tub of that in the car to carry about with me in case of emergency.

How easy is it to change the rad by the way and how long a job anyone any ideas?

I would just like to say that is is possible that goose had a unfortunate episode with his radiator, I would like to think that it isnt the norm to wait so long for parts from Chris.

Dave would you mind letting us know how long it takes to get your one, and then maybe we will know if it was a one off problem that Chris had no control of.

No problem Steve ordered it today about 11am so hoping it arrives about wed/thursday.

STT good price though a little late for me, looked on ebay myself but that one did not come up, don't know if it would do the 3.0 ltr but looks the same. Could have saved £30 Oh well still cheaper than MRT

It might surprise some but I actually have my fingers crossed for a positive result, for both Dave AND Chris

Am I correct that you ordered from Advanced Radiators on Fri and it arrived on Monday?
Happy days

Mine getting delivered to mechanic as he is always about, he will phone me when it arrives, mind you mine has got to go to Scotland, so may take a day longer.

Good service advance never had one for the 3.0 ltr or would have ordered it from them, good price
