    soarer 3.0 rear subframe

    hi to all
I have a problem in the effect I am currently doing my Soarer up I've had her for a couple of years and I love her . she's not as refined as the v8 and not as scary as the TT but as a daily drive she's perfect
I am changing to Tein adjustable shocks larger front discs and supra 4 pots so I thought whilst I was at it I would change the anti roll bars so bought this kit from Whiffbitz garage and was assured it fits both Soarer and Supra my problem is
the rear bar is designed to mount to the rear sub frame a la Supra but the soarer is body mounted so does any one know what I have to buy in order to do this and where I might start looking as I have already trolled around the local breakers
but soarers and supras are like rocking horse shit at a breakers yard

Why are you changing the rear - it’s the front that is replaced to reduce roll with a stiffer bar - it’s a rear wheel drive car

hi thanks for taking the time to reply
only changing it because it came as a pair and to be fair the rear was looking pretty shabby
but if I get your train of thought do you think I should just get the rear cleaned up and painted
as if I am reading you correctly it wont make a damned difference and all I am going to get is a headache trying to locate these bloody brackets

the anti roll bars are usually adjustable , so they can be adjusted to suit various spring ratings , kits of front and rear are specced to suit a particular spring coupling and then the shocks are chosen to complement both arb and springs
FWD need stronger rear bars and RWD stronger front bars - often the opposite bar is removed altogether or a thinner bar is used
I seldom see soarers with the ARB done , it isa fantastic mod , its common to see shocks done as they wear out but rare to see the job done properly with ARB - so ARB s far and few between - both are soarer specific

I'm really surprised that Whifbitz told you that the Soarer and Supra rear subframes are the same as I changed my subframe at that garage for a Supra one! :anger: Paul obviously forgot.
When tuning a Soarer you can have
    Power
    Reliability
    and Cheap.
But you can only have 2...take your pick!
So you want to tune your TT??? Read these.......
