A nice TT in the rare Gold.

I bought this some time ago and we have been doing a bit to it for the last month or so and today apart from a good clean it is done, MOT'ed Yesterday and serviced today.

We rebuilt both front callipers, did the boot spoiler strut, fitted these Genuine Supra wheels with almost new tyres, 9J's on the rears and 8J's on the front. It has a Kenwood CD player but I havent touched this as I dont do that sort of work, The centre air vent isnt cracked but the heater control panel has bled out as they do, I dont have one of these so it is what it is. It does have an alarm, some say the sun roof helps, and some dont like them ???.

We also painted it as you can see.

This car is 2600 as it is, and for this money you cant get a good paint job so I am sure it will sell, even at this time when Soarers are not selling.

    Have a look.

I did say it needed a clean.

I know I have double posted but I aint going to go through them all to sort them out.

Ah, forgot to say the miles / Klms is showing 113k there are some bills adding up to about 3 grand from Jem and it has a dozen or so old MOT's so you could say it has good history as far as mileage goes.

There is also a switch to change from MPH to KPH so the miles are not too high.

I will sort out the miles over the holidays and put them up.

I sorted through the old mot’s and here it all is.

    08/1997=11,019 miles.
    08/1998=24,107miles.
    08/1999=31,611miles
    08/2000=39,814miles.
    08/2001=48,060miles.
    08/2002=58,991miles.
    08,2003=66,336miles.
    07/2004=72,155miles.
    08/2005=79,518miles.
    2006 Missing.
    07/2007=89,599miles.
    2008 = 94,551 miles.
    11/2008=96,445miles @Jem =927.
    11/2008=97,341miles @Jem = 185.
    07/2009=103,550miles.
    09/2009=105,535 miles @ Jem= 1,750
    06/2010=112,309miles.
    2010 to 2016 Not MOT’ed.
    12/2016=113,056miles.

Obviously not 100% complete but impressive nevertheless.

I got this car from the owner who told me it was laid up for a few years and that is why there are no MOT’s between 2010 and when I had it done this week.

Probably in the minority but I think this gold is one of the best colours for Soarers.

I have a special connection with this colour as my very first Soarer was Gold, and that is why I decided to paint it rather than scrap it.

This surely is the end of the Soarer if I cant sell this car for 2600.

Maybe if i bring this to the front I might find someone who wants a good looking TT.

2600, for this car is crazy.

it wont be long and it is going to go on the bay, and that would be a shame to lose this to a non member.

Great news. The odd Soarer I see on the road these days look in pretty good nick. Seems owners are looking after them now.
